Under the page 'Beechen Hall' on our website there is an online request form.  Underneath that is a calendar which relates to Parish Council Meetings and not Beechen Hall bookings.  Please would you remove the calendar from this page as it is causing confusion to our potential hirers.

PHOTO GALLERY

The lower section of the PHOTO GALLERY home page does not seem to be working correctly.

I can not see any way to get the galleries pictures displayed in the lower section of the page.  The titles of the pictures are semi-visible in the location I would expect to see the pictures displayed  - when I click on the point where I see or estimate the title is "displayed" the picture and details are shown.

Please will you investigate this situation and sort it or let me know what I need to do - or indeed what I am doing wrong!.

Hi. I've just tried to use the emailer to send out a newsletter. All was fine - I pressed send, the emailer confirmed that it had sent to all subscribers.

Being a subscriber myself on a separate email address I have not received the email.

i went back onto the site to check my subscribed email address to find that all email addresses on the subscriber list have disappeared. This has happened to us before.

This doesn't seem to be working at the moment and email sent to the address is not picked up. I have not been able to test this email address as I don't have all the information required to configure it.

Could you please supply me with the infor required to configure access to this email account and also  reset the password as I dont think the one I have been give is correct which is amberley clerk

We need to use this address for our Neighbourhood Plan and so need to confirm it is working quite urgently so I would be grateful if someone could look at this as a matter of urgency.

I am making contact via this route because I am having difficulty finding technical help. I'm having a variety of problems, most importantly that I'm unable to add it into the calendar. When I try all goes well up to the point where press save, and then I get the following:

I have been trying to contact you for 10 months to get this sorted.

We need an extra page on our web site to allow us to insert an interactive map. This map is a link to our local District Council's mapping system, and the link is as follows:

My contact at the District Council said something about putting it in an iFrame...?

I would like the map to come up as the entire web site, so the best place for it is on its own page called "interactive map", on our "Local information" menu.

I am being constantly hassled by the rest of the Parish Council to get this change made, so please get it done as soon as possible. Although using the same file for documents to be uploaded into the document archive, when we try to add the agenda on the calendar link, it doesn't work.  It does seem to show the document path but you can't access or open the document.  What are we doing wrong?

I have been trying to obtain support from your company since last autumn.  I have been unable to access the site admin system for a number of months and, as a result, have not been able to update our parish website since last summer.  I emailed you and Cecilie last week and have had no response whatsoever. This is an intolerable situation.

I therefore intend to begin the process of sourcing a new provider for our website. It follows that I will not be recommending you to neighbouring parishes or to the Yorkshire Local Councils Association.

URGENT - HELP PLEASE

Hi, 

This afternoon I received an email, as I would normally, to let me know that the contact form on the website had been used. I opened the email but only to find that there were just some numbers in the message and nothing else. I deleted the email and then noticed that my inbox had been bombarded with 491 spam/phishing emails. As if someone, or something was trying to hack the website.

So, in an attempt to "quick fix" I unchecked the box to "hide" the contact page, so that this hopefully would't happen again.

Please, if possible, can we add a security feature to the bottom of the contact page, so that a message can't be sent unless the security question has been answered. For example: the re-captcha tool. They have the option of either entering text or ticking a box that says "I' am not a robot".

We have not been able to upload any minutes and agendas to our website for some time, we have reported the fault by emailing and ringing but no one has contacted us.

The error message that comes up is

I really do need someone to respond to emails and telephone messages to sort out the problem we have with updating the meetings page and adding Agendas and Minutes,  I have left messages on all the numbers listed and spoke to your receptionist on the freephone message asking whether the business was still in operation.  It seemed as though she was merely someone answering the phone for several businesses rather than anything specifically to do with Parish Council.net.  I have also received queries from other Clerks of parishes who use your company asking whether I am experiencing problems getting in touch.  Can someone PLEASE respond and let me know what is happening.  We need our website to function.

Please could you resolve a problem with the calender section of website.  When entering a new event, the date, meeting type and description are entered.  on saving the event the meeting type is absent and does not show on the homepage calender.  If you edit the event and select meeting type it then saves it as a date in 1970.

Is it possible for me to block delete Calander events I'm currently about to update events for 2017 and found that past events (100's) go back to 2014. Ideally i want to delete all events prior to January 2016 (always maintain the Previous years events)

Also is it possible that in Meetings and minutes instead of individually as is current practice, manually load and edit each meeting, for 2017 is there a means of Block loading i. e create main title SPC Meeting for a particular date, editable) then click Repeat 3rd Thursday  every month but still keep the now regonised format (this 3rd Thursday is SPC's estabished choice but needs to have a basic flexibility as we have other meetings scheduled outside of SPC's format

Hi. I am really havibg trouble using IE11 Safari and Goole webrowsers. i have added our Carol Service to the calander on 20th December 2016, ticked the box to display the event and saved. The problem I am having is the event saves but the tick to display fails to register, and the event will not display on the website. I need urgent fix if possible as Christmas is fast approaching and we have a few events to add. Looking forward to your reply.

Problems still exist when attempting to edit ticker this fault has also been noted by a collegue Fault being that on opening ticker only the top portion of the screen is visable abart from a series of dots moving across the screen bottom of the pane

Recently I seem unable to enter an apostrophe in the title or information fields in the Calendar entry and editing screens.  If I do, when I save the change I just get an SQL error from the server and nothing sets saved.  Could this be fixed again please - it used to work.

Means things like "Women's Institute" and "St Andrew's Church" don't work.

I've referred two issues to you through the urgent meesage on the start page but had no response so gues I should use this normal route.

The two problems that need urgent fixing are:

The Home Page Ticker is no longer usable as there is no text field available now - that's inportant because we use it to flag up notice of town council meetings

We are no longer able to add or edit meetings to the meeting facility since as soon as detail is added or edited, the 'type of of meeting' field empies and the entry disappears - see the absence of entries for the town council meetings of 10 October and 14 November.

Thanks. At present I am using the 'PARISHPLAN' code screen and have renamed the Title as 'Transparency Code'.

Please set up a new screen 'Transparency Code' to sit under the main heading of "The Parish Council" and positioned between "Council Meetings" and "Document Archive". I guess that this new screen would then appear in the "Pages" part of the editor? I will then transfer the "Parish Plan" screen data to the "Transparency Code" screen and clear out the "Parish Plan" screen.

If this fits into your comment below ("We can either create this page for you now...") then please do and can you let me know when it will be available - if in the next 2 days then great as we have a Parish meeting on Thursday 6th October and it would be good to report that we have the new page up and running.

I am unable to add PDF files to the Meetings screen (Agendas and Minutes) using Firefox - it comes up "Invalid File" after selecting a file from the browser screen. I have used this method for many years. I AM able to add PDF files on other screens e.g. Documents.

I AM able to add PDF documents using Chrome and Explorer/ Edge.

Can you tell me what the problem is?

We have had reports of this error from a couple of Firefox users, and it appears to be a bug in the Firefox application's latest update. We are looking into whether we can code a work-around for Firefox users, but in the meantime I recommend using Chrome / IE / Edge for documents.

Below is what I now see on the Calendar for events on the 6th October.

Having added the new event for the 6th October it is correctly keeping the Meeting Title and showing up on the calendar (6th is now shadded in).

BUT - all the the ones I tried the other day that had the Meeting Title removed upon saving the event are also showing up and I cannot remove them.

Please remove them for me a.s.a.p. as this screen looks a mess.

Urgent phone call made on Friday 30th September 2016 to phone number 0800 566 8116 and message left with a member of staff as no one in a support role was available.

Message relayed was that the MEETINGS changes screen was playing up as it was not possible to ADD a new Meeting, although the system stated that the meeting was added but was not visible.

Also, it was not possible to add/change Minutes to an existing Meeting.

I did a few TEST Meeting additions and then noticed that the Meeting Title was being blanked out on the 'Save Event' screen after hitting 'Change Event'. No Meeting event appeared on the Meetings screen on the website and was also not shown on the edit screen.

In the end I noticed that my original Meeting and the other 'Test' Meetings are showing up on the 'Calendar and Events' screen on the website as text BUT the date of the meeting is NOT on the Calendar.

I now have a messed up Calendar and Events screen that I cannot change along with Meetings that I cannot add or change.

Please respond urgently.

We have had a server issue for the last couple of weeks since a security upgrade caused many sites to become unresponsive and buggy. We have developed a patch for these sites and have applied the patch to the Doddiscomsleigh PC website for you, so it should be working correctly now.

I reported this by phone last week but the issue still hasn't been resolved.

Hi

I am getting errors and problems trying to edit a page (Winford and Felton Community Bus).  I can't open the WYSIWYG editor at all for that page.  Also,, I can't insert a hyperlink to a document o nthe server on any page.  If I copy the link to Word and clck I get a 403 forbidden error or it asks for sign in details.  Please help ASAP

I am experiencing problems when trying to upload attachments to news items. I am running windows 10. it was working ok now a week ago it came up with a problem. Have sent numerous e-mails regarding this but nothing has changed, getting very frustrated and annoyed.

Hello,

It has been brought to my attention that there is an error on the input on the booking form for Beaumont Parish Hall on the Village Halls list.

The current date is sent over on the booking email rather than the date of booking entered. I ran a test and entered a date in October but the email received had today's date 16.09.16 instead.

Please can you correct the entry.

I cannot upload images at present. Whenever I try to I get this error message as soon as i touch the Upload button. I am using Safari v 9.1.3  on a Mac with OSX v 10.11.6

 

Doesn't work on Windows 10 either!

Hi, good afternoon

I am having a problem with linking a document that I have uploaded onto the news section.

I usually write the news text, click the link icon, browse server for the document I need to link to and that works

Today however, I am getting this message with I click the link icon to browse the server

This a second request for urgent help.

I initially raised a concern on 9.9.16 using the log number 1002158 but have not even had an email to confirm that the problem is being logged in your system.

PLEASE CAN YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THIS PROBLEM?

I am trying to upload the annual audit return to the website however for some reason today I cannot upload the document to the server and then to be available to view on the website.  I get the following message when trying to access the server:

I have been trying for a while to update a link in a "Directory" entry on our website using the editor - I go to the list of pages and start to make alterations - I select the existing link and go to 'edit link' - I 'unlink' the existing arrangement and then select 'link' and try to upload to the server from my desktop the new pdf document. I 'browse the desktop' and highlight the required file and click 'send to server'. The box does not respond correctly and I find the following error message:-

I believe that I am doing what I have done several times previously with success.

Please will you look at this as soon as possible and either correct what is necessary or let me know what I am doing wrong ........... thank you.

Hi

I have left a couple of messages both last week and the previous week for you to call me but have not heard anything.

From my last requests you will see that I have been trying to update the Neighbouhood Plan page on our website to include a link to Steering Group minutes & Agendas but I have been unable to do this. From out last telephone conversation (last year) you were going to update the website so that I could do this but I am still unable to.

I am also really not happy with how that page looks and need some advice about how I get the photo to go all across the page I also cannot get the Steering Group members to go all across the page.

I am wondering whether we really need to update this website and would really appreciate it if somebody would call be to discuss. I am normally home after 1.30pm Monday - Friday.

Hi, I am the site administrator for the BHHW-PC.org.uk website,and I have an issue uploading a file and making it visible and downloadable.

 

The file is called "Standing Orders BHHW Parish Council updated January 2015 .pdf" and should be visible in the "Parish Council/Statutory Documents" area of the site. I have uploaded it and the read access looks the same as other files, but it is not visible when on the website as a user.

 

Also, I would like to experiment with different background colours for the website to make it look a bit fresher. Is this something I can do myself?

Can you help please?
