From Tuesday 22 July 2025, we're bringing in a Temporary Use Ban (also known as a hosepipe ban) in parts of our supply area, including postcodes in OX, GL, SN, RG4, RG8 and RG9.

June was the hottest on record, with very little rain and lots of extra water being used in the sunshine. We've been keeping a close eye on our reservoirs and rivers, and they're lower than normal for this time of year. So to limit the impact on our region’s rivers and to keep the taps running for you and all our customers, we need to introduce temporary hosepipe restrictions.
