What ever next? - I went to a recent consultation afternoon at Steyne Park to look at plans for the site of the Thatched House. I was astonished to see that the plans were for 33 flats, 3 storeys high and with 17 parking spaces. The flats are aimed for old people yet if you look around Inver House can't sell their flats, Weaver is building old peoples accommodation too. Surely what this village needs is housing for young people, we already have too many old people to care for. Whatever next 33 flats on a small site, next we will see multi-storey blocks all over the place.
